There’s now a flier for the G-20 Solidarity Protest.  It’s more of a gathering than a protest though.  If you would like a flier to hand out, you can download one here: WhyWeFightFlier (right click and select “Save Link As…” for Firefox, and “Save  Target As…” for Internet Explorer).

Utah Health Reform Activities

Two different groups are organizing health reform events today.

Everybody-in.org is sponsoring a rally, speakers, and screening of Michael Moore’s documentary Sicko at 5:00 PM at the Salt Lake City Public Library (210 East 400 South)

Since Jim Matheson has refused to hold a town hall meeting, a group of concern citizens will be bringing a town hall event to Matheson, in the form of a protest.  A fund raiser for Matheson will be held at restaurant in Mill Creek Canyon, so the protest will be held from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at 3800 South Wasatch Blvd.

These groups have also been critical of Matheson’s Blue Dog position in relation to the sources of his campaign contributions.  For more information see: OpenSecrets.org.
